lo all,

Just wondering how many aspiring musicians we have who frequent the forum and if there would be enough interest in me starting up a new forum here where we could discuss making music, recording, equipment, stage gear, demo your songs, whether your live gigging or just home studio.

let me know what you guys think

I'm having to get ready for Smee's next film. This time instead of the soundtrack being filled by my back catalogue, its gonna have a score written for it. So I'm having to practice my composing skills. Here's what I come up with today, and its rough, theres no producing gone into this at all, its just a basic mix, so the rocordings not that great either.

lol and I chose the name cause as I was making it, before I had made the percussion, thats the type of thing it put me in mind of.

Gonna fail my music GCSE, but I love music itself and bands that everyone runs etc.

Sing for a band myself occassionaly, just as a fill-in though. Cool idea for a forum tbh.

if smee wants to kick up some attention with his films he should become the UK version of the Ghost Rider hehehehe, if your into bikes you should know what i mean if not put a search into Kazaa or what ever you use and download the 800 meg film of the Ghost Riders Final Ride if you cant be bothered to do that i will explain what he does and who he is later, if you ask nicely :D

i use to be into making music but i havent done it for a long long time, had to much other things to do so it had to me put on hold, but i would be interested yer.

Just listened to that score mate - a chilling classical piece in a exorcisty type of way- excellent work - not that I have the foggiest about music you understand - I still whistle the tweenies tune after having the weans videos on all day.

Killsy you are avin a giraffe mate - singin? listen folks picture the scene - Sunday night the glorious rangers have just won the league, me and killsy are in a pub in Glasgow and I suggest we give the old karaoke a try -Simply the Best by Tina Turner , the reply not me I cannae sing. The prosecution rests m'lud.
As a wee footnote to that while driving to the aforementioned boozer it was your old mucker that was doin the singin in the car - granted I had consumed a drink or ten but my voice was like an angel albeit one that had just crashed and burned. Anyway Killsy a singer:-D

may I just add to that I was attempting to try and keep as much of a low profile as possible (which was very difficult with someone going round kissing Yes kissing anyone he could see...lol) the pub in question was a haunt for terrorists, murderer's and rapists and he wanted me to produce me angelic voice I think not...lol
