Help Again

Hi guys,

Wonder if you can help me (again) Was playin today and everything cushty , then map changed to de-nuke and i got this error message -
couldn't open valve/jos.wad - have not got a clue what it means but I cannot seem to get on - not sure if it wil be just for de-nuke or others - any ideas.
Ps I have not been in any dodgy sites since the last feck up I promise

WADs are texture files that maps use for images for playing

not having the jos wad normally means you have the retail version. Just dl the jos.wad and put it in your CStrike folder

Cheers smee mate - what would I do without ya - just one small really quite insignificant question though? What did it all mean lol as in dl the jos wad????:confused: I know i know i'm a nightmare but my IT skills really don't go beyond the on/off button - as you should no.
So if you could explain what it means in plain ordinary ( yea ok dafty ) language it would be greatly appreciated.

he means download this -----> jos.wad (http://www.crazy-h0use.co.uk/shadow-company/Downloads/jos.wad)
and then copy and paste this file to your \Half-Life\cstrike directory :cool:

Hi Killsy,
Today is Tuesday( I think) and I am still suffering from the consequences of my drinking on Sunday - i have decided that I will never ever drink again. oh thank god, I have never been able to play nuke because of this bloody jos wad.

Now I just have to wait till its played again to see if this works yipieee :-D

Hi Maddy,

I followed instructions as per Smee and Ivan and everything works fine. Did you copy it to the right cs folder thingy??????

Well i opened Counter strike folder and then put the jos wad thing in cstrike folder.
Though Ivan and smee are really clued up might be a good idea to ask them. :)
