Loss???

hi guys as yo umay have heard me moaning on the server I am getting a lot of loss well by a lot I mean more than 0...lol it usually goes up adn down from about 4-8 but it also jumps to about 20 every thirty secs or so... any ideas on what may cause it and any ideas on how I can solve it? I have tried other servers and it is me... my rates are 15000 cl_rate 15000 cl_cmdrate 101 cl_updaterate 101 I have tried lowering these but still nothing I just start getting choke then...

kills try dropping your rates to 15000 30 30 just now to see if that helps

guys sorted now I downloaded a fix tool from Btopenworld

might be an idea if any of you guys are with bt and having any problems all it does is tweaks teh Broadband settings...very easy to set tehm back if it doesn't help...but it has with me wooohooo here is the file if anyone needs it

My loss problem was cleared up a while ago m8 by my isp, it was only a temp thing.

I have read about changing the MTU vlaue b4, but not fiddled with it yet. I might give it a go!

yeah thats wot is was m8 mtu adn this thing fiddled with it for optimum performance adn it worked so am happy :D

ni the all seeing eye there is a network tweak that gives better performance.....
