random kicks

it is quite annoying when u r apparently randomly kicked from the server, only to find when u try and reconnect that it is mystically full. i am guessing this is admins kicking cos they wanna play, but it would be nice to be at least told that some how...and even nicer if it didn't happen

That will be why they pick you.
If the servers full and an admin needs to get on, I generally pick the person who's name I dont recognise, so its your own doing. Not that I'm saying it was me. :cool:

i think that is mightily unfair on the playing com unity for admins to kick when they want to play and the server is full... where do i sign up to become an admin?? ;)

although i can see the fairness as clear as day, i am just going to point out the negative effect that perturbing possible new membersfrom playing more reguarly might have, for instance at about 9 pm yesterday there was 5 of us on the server...which is v good

if an admin has been called to the sever to deal with a scallywag, he has to get on to do anything, hence the kick....i would imagine anyways.....:D

An admin will wait in line, unless he needs to get on the server to carry something out, and just cause theres an admin on the server already doesnt mean another doesnt have a role to play. :cool:

I have to admit that I have been responsible for a few kicks to get meself on server when its full, I see no harm if its a non regular who server hops anyway, I wouldnt kick a regular tho... unless it was kumb or BC cos they make the server smell :D

if its an rcon command then you can, thats how you get kicked, but if you require to use admin mod, you need to be on the server. :cool:

I have never kicked anyone to get on I usually just wait my turn the server has been timing out quite a bit recently so this may be something that is affecting one person apparently getting kicked also? Ivan gimme the command to kick someone if I need onto the server?...lol
