Lo guys, i was wondering how Planetside was going now, thinking of re-starting my account there.

is it worth doing or not ?

Hi Kraken :)

I would definatly recommend restarting your account :P loads of things have changed since you last played.

Our outfit now has about 100 members, 40-50 online a day and 20+ online a night.

The game has changed heres a link to all of the update info, i really suggest you read it :)

Definately worth starting up planetside account, I took a large timeout and other than the textures at maximum res not being as sharp as they used to...

everything seems a lot better than before.

Haven't had a single CTD and new features seem pretty great - if u ignore the ugly caverns.

Hrm. The outfit-owned bases just don't seem as imaginative as they could be.

I mean, for example, there's an obvious problem in that EVERYONE is gonna want a Technology plant.

Then there's the problem that, okay, you get more outfit points for fighting in your own base, but you don't get any TANGIBLE benefits, like being able to kick people out of turrets and use them yourself in your base, or being able to use terminals even when hacked, or something like that.

You know what I mean? It's just not exciting enough a benefit.

We will just have to wait and see how it plays out, cant judge it untill we see it in action :)

OOB is probably in a basic form at the moment, i reckon new options and abilities will be added in the future.

Whats up with the planetside webby? All I get is a white and grey bar. Tried empting temp internet and refreshing the site and still nada.

Sokay found the prob. My firewalls a tad aggressive and is stopping the page loading up.

Hiya,

I was wondering what are the different ways i can pay to play Planet Side,

Can i use my bank card, splash plastic? or do i need a credit card.
Im upgrading my pc after xmas so i was thinking of getting Planet Side :)

I use my Solo card ..... I'm noy sure but I think you can also pay via PayPal.
